MigraLog ("the app", "we", "us") is a private migraine and headache diary. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is protected. MigraLog is built to be offline-first: your health entries never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.
When you use MigraLog, you can record migraine attacks, pain levels, symptoms, triggers, medications, and related notes. This information is saved in a local database (SQLite) on your device only. We do not have a server, we do not receive this data, and it is never transmitted off your device by the app.
If you opt in, MigraLog can read your sleep data from Apple Health to show how much you slept before an attack. This access is optional and requested only with your explicit permission. Sleep data read from Apple Health is used on-device only, is never transmitted off the device, and MigraLog does not write any data back to Apple Health. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Health.
MigraLog offers an optional in-app purchase (the "Doctor Report"). Purchases are processed by Apple. To validate your purchase and unlock the feature, we use a third-party service, RevenueCat, Inc., which processes purchase/receipt information associated with an anonymous, app-generated identifier. This information is used solely to verify entitlements (app functionality) and is not linked to your identity and not used to track you. We never receive your payment card or bank details. You may optionally protect the app with Face ID or your device passcode. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by iOS. MigraLog never sees, stores, or transmits your biometric data.
MigraLog lets you export your data as a CSV file or generate a PDF "Doctor Report". These files are created on your device and are only shared if you choose to send them (for example, by email or to your doctor). Once you share a file outside the app, this policy no longer controls it.
Because your entries live only on your device, you are always in control. You can delete individual entries inside the app, or remove all data at once by deleting the app from your device.
MigraLog is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
MigraLog is a record-keeping tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or predict any condition, and nothing in the app is medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider about your symptoms and medications.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above.
